I just tried it with a voice sample and the rave “preset” in the 3xOscillator. Works awesome. Set both the voice and the 3xOsc to fx channel 1. Pan the voice to the left, and pan the 3xosc to the right. Make sure both are playing at the same time. It sounds awesome!

It will work with any sounds that you can link to a mixer channel in FL Studio.

i have been trying to get this thing to work, i did what you described above, does it work with any instrument or only certain ones, i want use the rave lead or voodoo with a voice on it. is that possible, doesnt seem to be workin for me

I have the same problem as John does - All of my samples play at once when I click C5 in the piano roll. I can’t quite figure out how to fix that.

You’re right it depends on the type of tune you are making, but if your making club hits than you want a loud ass kick!

In this case you would simply turn up the levels on the kick or get a kick sample that is normalised to 0dB. You don’t need a compressor in this situation.

I would like to know if you had for e.g. a Kick at -9dB and you wanted to say obtain an output @ 0dB, what exact settings would you use on your compressor?

Kick at -2db!? Seriously? Most would say at least -6, if not -9 or lower. I guess it depends on how strong of a kick (or kicks, if you are layering drum samples, highly recommended) you are dealing with.
